Conventional ways of packing sunflower seeds
In most cases, farmers who grow sunflower seeds do not have the facilities to process them into oil, roast them for consumers, or mix them into bird food. For this, sunflower seeds need to be transported to another place. To prepare sunflower seeds for shipment, they must be packaged for easy loading and unloading from trucks. You can choose from a variety of packaging methods, but the most common choices are burlap or woven plastic bags. These bags can then be handled individually or they can be placed on pallets to move multiple bags at once.
To put bags of sunflower seeds on a tray, you must first lay down a sheet of plastic or fiberboard to cover the gaps in the tray and provide a smooth, debris-free surface on which to stack your bags. Then stack the bags horizontally, staggering them to the other edge to stabilize the tray. Once the bags are stacked to the desired height (no more than 6 feet), wrap everything in several layers of plastic wrap, hold them together, and secure them securely to the pallet. Another option for shipping sunflower seeds is to use a collapsible bulk container, which is a large plastic box that already has a tray slot on the bottom so it can be moved by a forklift. These containers may or may not have a lid on them, but you should consider covering your sunflower seeds to make sure you don't lose anything if the trip is a little bumpy.
Baopack Sunflower Seeds Packaging Machine In Bulk
If you need to ship large quantities of sunflower seeds over long distances, you may consider shipping them in bulk using our sunflower seeds packaging machine. This means that loose sunflower seeds will be dumped in the back of an open top cargo truck. Transporting sunflower seeds in this way has many advantages, but sometimes problems arise when transporting dry bulk. One of the main advantages of this mode of transport is its efficiency.
Since there are no trays, packing materials or other clutter, you can move more sunflower seeds at once. Pallets and other materials add weight and take up space, so getting rid of them means you'll be able to fit more sunflower seeds on your truck. Bulk shipping also saves time. Since sorting, bagging, palletizing, plastic wrapping and loading seeds can take so long, it's not hard to imagine how much time you could save if you skipped all the intermediate steps and that you simply throw the sunflower seeds on a truck. It is also easier to unload once it reaches the processing facility.
