Belt conveyor is also called rubber belt conveyor, band-type conveyor, belt conveyor line, belt assembly line. The continuous or intermittent movement of the conveyor belt is used to transport various items of different light and weight. It can transport various bulk materials, as well as various cartons, packaging bags and other single-piece goods with low weight. It is suitable for food, electronics, chemicals, printing and other industries.
Technical advantages of food-grade belt conveyors:
1. It runs reliably and has an anti-tracking device;
2. The belt conveyor has low power consumption. Because there is almost no relative movement between the material and the conveyor belt, not only the running resistance is small, but also the wear and breakage of the load are small, and the productivity is high. These are all conducive to reducing production costs.
3. The conveying line of the food-grade belt conveyor is adaptable and flexible. The length of the line depends on the need. It can be as short as a few meters and can reach more than 30m in length. It can be installed in a small tunnel, or it can be erected above ground traffic chaos and dangerous areas.
4. According to the requirements of the technological process, the belt conveyor can receive materials from one or more points very flexibly. It can also discharge to multiple points or several sections. When feeding materials to the conveyor belt at several points at the same time, or feeding materials to the conveyor belt through uniform feeding equipment at any point along the length of the belt conveyor, the belt conveyor becomes a main conveying trunk line.
